Welcome to Freedom Hall and Academy, a faith-driven Private Membership Organization dedicated to nurturing community and freedom. We offer recurring donations that provide our valued private donors with unique perks, which may evolve over time.
Comments
When you leave a comment on our site, we collect the information you share in the comments form along with your IP address and browser user agent details. This helps us keep our community safe from spam.
If you use Gravatar, an anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be shared with Gravatar to see if you have a profile. You can find their privacy policy here: Gravatar Privacy Policy. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
When you upload images to our site, please ensure they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Be aware that other visitors can download and extract location data from images posted on our site.
Cookies
For your convenience, if you leave a comment, you can opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This means you won’t need to re-enter your details for future comments. These cookies last for one year.
Visiting our login page will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we set up cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
Editing or publishing an article sets an additional cookie in your browser, indicating the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on our site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Interacting with this embedded content is just like visiting the other website directly. Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically. For users who register on our site, we store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except changing their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
Your Data Rights
If you have an account or have left comments on our site, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also ask us to erase any personal data we have about you, excluding any data we need to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Data Destinations
Visitor comments may be checked using an automated spam detection service.
No Email information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Your email address may be used to provide users with updates and information about their accounts such as password resets, reminders, and event information. Users can opt out at any time by emailing freedom.hall.academy@gmail.com
Mobile numbers are used to send SMS messages to reoccurring donors using Twilio’s SMS services. Users can opt out at any time by emailing freedom.hall.academy@gmail.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
